"Where I am from" poem

I am from a room that is like a zoo, a desk that looks like a jungle
from a morning bed that is like a cave and a floor that is just messy.
I am from swimming with my dog .
from fresh beans and spuds and tomatoes and pumpkins
I am  from home cooked meals, from laughter and rushing
I am from chlorine  and baking, from talking and barking
I am from tricker or treating, from finding chocolate eggs.
from Rudolph and Santa visiting, leaving presents
I am from soft toys and photos when I remember the past
I am from a long line of family some old and some young,
from cousins to aunts to my father and mum.
I am from fights with my brother and my sister but we still have fun,
from singing along to some music, from dancing till the music is done
I am from children from the street playing as friends
I am from at first a yard that looks like a desert to one that transforms
into a jungle.
I am from a home that looked like a house to now a house that is my home
I am from my family my pets and my friends

Mannequin art

In class we designed and drew mannequins. We got a piece of A4 paper and drew 12 different designs on it. Then we traced a mannequin on to a piece of A3 paper and cut it out. Once we had our own copy of the mannequin we picked out 6 of our designs and drew them on to it.  Then we coloured the designs in. After it was all coloured in we glued it onto a piece of coloured paper and cut it out  leaving a rim of the colour.  Some were laminated, and then stuck them onto the wall.
